Sex Before Marriage

Ok, do a lot of people believe that sex
before marriage is a bad idea, and could
possibly lead to a greater risk of divorce
if the couple were ever to get married??
I have had sex before, and I am somewhat
afraid of after hearing of these
facts..Also, it kinda scares me when you
hear about how sinful and all this stuff
it is! Ne comments would be great, thanks

Don't listen to all those caca facts....
It all matters, what matters to you. If
your a devout catholic or wahetver
religons don't agree with it then yeah,
but it doesn't matter.
It's all up to what you believe, but at
the end of the day if you've already
messed you can't do caca about it now so
don't make a big deal about it.

Do what you believe in.
I've heard the statistics too.
But follow your values.
I thought i'd never have sex before
marriage but I did.
I don't feel bad about it.
Sex is a normal and needed part of life.
I feel like i'll still have a long
marriage.
Depends on the person not if you've had
sex before.

If you are very close with the person and
all, and decide to have sex before
marriage I think its a different story,
because its not like they were just trying
to get into your pants, they really love
you so they arent just gonna take off, on
the other side too, how you say its said
to be"if you have sex before marriage your
more likely to get divorced?" I don't
think so, because I think if youve never
had another partner then you get married
have sex, yeah it will be great, but then
alot of people might say well hey I want
to experince more, or something else?
Plus I think living with someone and doing
all those things is good before marriage,
you want to be sure that you guys are
compatible before getting into a serious
legal bind and all dontcha? Nothing wrong
with test driving the car, before you buy
it : )
but only do it if, you want to.

Truley, if u not religious about it, then
dont worry about that. Now, as long as ur
having safe sex, then dont worry. Just
dont go around having sex with random
people, instead, people you know and
trust, because they will pull a trick, and
give u a delightfull std, or pregnate u.
Otherwise, dont feel guilty, everything
else ppl say is jsut a binch of bull-spit.

the reason .God does not want us to do it
is....We cant make a wholesome
relationship with one another once the sex
is entered into. We need to build the
relationship, and get to know each other
first, if at all possible. ".God with
holds no good thing from us" if you feel
it is sin, it is sin to you and you should
try and avoid it. But.....God forgives
us when we make mistakes and he can make
us like we never had sex before, in our
mentallity anyway. And if you spend your
relationship with .God and them---your
chances are better than anyone else's.
Period.

You see, i'm starting to feel it's a
different story when you are close to the
person, and feel comfortable..Then I feel
it's ok.. As long as it's a committed
relationship and a serious one..Not just a
one night thing..Or a one month fling.

...Also. To add a little note..I also
believe god will forgive us if we believe
we are doing the right thing. And as long
as I believe in god I feel better as
well!!
For me, it's just a lil' harder when my
partner or girlfriend has had sex with
other men..And I have only had her.
That's the largest obstacle in our
relationship..And i'm just afraid it
always will be with the constant reminders
of her past...And just knowing even if we
get married, I can always think bout her
and the other guys..

Fat family I agree with you god will
forgive but it is a lot harder to forgive
our selves & if he loves &
respects you it is worth waiting for

For me, it has absolutly nothing to do
with a higher power. It has to what you
feel is right. I would wait for someone I
loved, and loved me back, but that's not
right for everyone.
Only you know what is right for you, so
follow what you believe, and what feels
right to you. Only advise anyone can
really give you. =)

I think having sex before marriage is
alright...I think the whole thing about
waiting was back in the day...B/c you dont
hear many people being virgins these
days...Which doesnt bother me ...I dont
think sex and being a virgin could make a
marriage go bad..I think the only way it
would cause problems is if one parner is a
virgin and the other isnt...But other
people may look at this differently

Me and my husband had sex before we were
married. I think it's ok to have sex
before marriage if you and your partner
feel ready, have a good relationship with
eachother, and are in love. But I don't
think it's a good idea if you aren't
ready, feel pressured, don't really care
for eachother, etc. I also don't think
it's ok to be with a lot of people-but
that's just my opinion. I was 18 when we
first started sleeping together and he was
24 at the time. He is the only person I
ever slept with.....Of course that was by
choice. I wasn't ready to be in a sexual
relationship with anyone before him. We
did use condoms most of the time-i
remember we went to the store at like 3
a.M. In the morning one time because we
were out of condoms one morning when we
were in the mood. The times that we
didn't use condoms he held back, and I
never got pregnant 'til about 6 months
after being married. I am now pregnant
and due 02/01. So the choice is really up
to you but make sure that you and your
partner are ready-don't have sex just to
do it. Do it if you want to and are 100%
sure that you are ready to.

and if there is a divorce with 2 people it
is because they could not work out their
problems.

Sex before marriage. It's a question of
personal values and if you feel at ease
with it. There might be some religious,
social or even family pressure, but it all
comes down to one thing: do you feel at
ease with it. By the way, I assume that
since the discussion is about sex before
marriage, it's not sex but making love we
are talking about?
One last thing: I have nothing against sex
before marriage, as long as it doesn't
hold up the ceremony. Keep smiling!

Well my boyfirend and I were talking the
other day about virgins.He said that
virgins are what men prefer.Virgin women
are pure and are worth alot. He said
they are the only women men will die for.
There is no point in women expecting a
man to be their knights in shinning armour
becuse damsels in distress are vigins.
Even though he didnt mean to make me fell
bad but he made me feel dirty.Im 21 and
ive only had 2 sexual partners.I mean it
was a good 11months b4 me and him had
sex.
Personally I think there is some truth to
it.But I cant change the past even if I
wanted to. Ladies be careful who you
sleep with.

obviously who you are sleeping with is
your own business, but your boyfriend
sounds like a complete friend. Maybe your
boyfriend likes virgins -- and he will
never value you if you were one. In fact,
he would probably look down on any woman
who he slept with, even if she had been a
virgin. Men who like virgins are only
insecure, because they are afraid of
losing out in a comparison.
