Getting Very Upset And Worried Please Help!!! Posted: 12-19-03 14:28pm
Hi there,
im so sorry to post yet again but im going
insane.Please someone help me.Please read
my other posts before and you will
understand.
Well its now been 48 days since my last
period.I dont even have any signs of about
to start my period. So I am now exactly a
week late.Im getting really really
frustrated. As you know my last period was
on nov 3rd and it was a really really
heavy and extremly painful one.
And that was the last one I have had.I am
ttc.I have done numerous pee tests all neg
and all differnt ones!!!.
I have sypmtoms and I do not feel
"right".I started having headaches
first,my tummy feels bloated,my pee is
more yellow in coulour,i constantly feel
tired and very lazy and extremely
nauseated these have lasted more than two
weeks.I did go to my g.P I told her I
havnt come on yet and that the last period
was very bad and all she did was prescribe
some stong pain killers for the next
period but I havnt got it yet,so what do I
do? How long do I wait? Could I still be
pregnant.I certainly dont feel right and
havnt for about two weeks. My doc also said
I could go for blood tests for pcos but I
have to wait till I start my period!!!!
Please help me someone.
Still feeling sick

Have you gotten a blood test to see if you
are pregnant? Ask them. Have you taken
any other tests?

Go Get Tested... Posted: 12-19-03 21:07pm
You need to get tested... For your doctor
to tell u to wait for ur period when there
is a chance u could be pregnant is
stupid... Go get a home test or get
tested at a clinic u need to know

Hon, for your own benefit (and that of a
baby if you are pregnant), please see
another doctor. When you do find another
doctor, ask for a blood test.
A doctor who tells you that you are not
pregnant just because a hpt comes back
negative doesn't know what they are
talking about. It is very possible to be
pregnant and not have the hpt come up
positive.
Please seek the advice of another doctor.
And if they won't listen to you, then
find another. You can go to a local
clinic or planned parenthood if they are
in your area.

Hey, calm down if you are pregnant
this stress isn't good.
here's what happened to me. When I was
pregnant I had a period on february 3rd.
Then in march, no period. Took a test
when I was two days late and it said
negative. So a week later I went to
planned parenthood and they gave me a test
and it was positive. Also, I got really
bad period like cramps and kept thinking I
was going to start and I didn't.
So, it is highly possible that you're
pregnant. Honestly, I agree with those
who are saying that you should not see
that Dr. Again. For a Dr. To act as if
it's unheard of to be pregnant after
testing negative with a home pregnancy
test, that's just ridiculous. So, go to
another Dr. And get a blood test. I
would say you are pregnant, but I am not a
medical professional. I will say that you
shouldn't have anything to worry about!
Hope that helps.

Glad you're going to the Dr. Actually, it
is very common to lose a little a weight,
or atleast appear to, in early pregnancy.
Hope that helps.

Alot of times, mostly first time pregnancy
you will loose weight before gaining some.
June 4th was my last period and around
the end of june- eraly july I was having
bloated feeling and menstral like cramps,
july 10th I went to crissis preg center
and took a hpt around 10am and it showed
negative imediatly I went to walgreens got
a error proof test and took it at about
noon and it showed up positive. I am now
29 weeks along. You should go see someone
other than your usual doc.
Good luck,
amberlee

I agree with the others. See a different
doctor! I'm on my 3rd child now and not
very far along. I just found out like 2
weeks ago. But one thing with my body
during this pregnancy is that with any
type of gas I get, my belly feels like it
is on fire!. I feel like I am about to
gush out blood from every hole in my body.
I go to the bathroom and let some of it
go and my belly fire goes away. When I
was pregnant with my first, I was about 4
months along and I went to the emergency
room with worse pains than contractions.
I mean I thought my belly was just going
to split open. My doctor could'nt figure
it out at first. The baby was fine,
everything in side was fine. So he gave
me something, I want to say immodium but
i'm not sure, and within a few minutes I
farted and all the pressure was realesed
and I felt fine after. Same now, I think
my uterus is sensitive to gas! This may
not be your problem but maybe its
something to put on your opptions list.
Maybe chilling out on the sex a little bit
may help too.

Honey, you have nothing to be sorry about
*hugs*. I can understand how scared you
are, and you have every reason to be. At
least now though, you may have your reason
why it took so long for your next period.
Sometimes it can be a relief to know what
is actually wrong.
You will be in my thoughts and I hope
everything turns out well for you:)

Amazingstar,
hey, we all need help, support &
advice at times, especially when we may be
pregnant, when drs aren't really being
helpful & when we're scared. That's
what this forum is all about, it's why
we're all here - to help & suppport
each other.
I think though that maybe giving yourself
a rest from ttc & having some time
out, not just for your body but for you
emotionally, in many ways the hardest part
of ttc is the emotional stuff.
Don't ever feel stupid for needing
support/advice & do have all those
tests, it rules stuff out & reassures
you for the future, or if there is a
problem it can be faced & dealth
with!!
