Has anybody researched this disease and
its treatment?

I've have done a lot of research on this
std. Hpv is human papaloma virus. This
is the fastest spreading std and is very
dangerous. Hpv is the cause of most
cervical cancer and is incureable. In a
recent study they found that 50% of
sexually active college age women have
hpv, and hpv kills more women a year than
aids. If caught yearly it can be treated
and kept under controle, if undetected it
can result in having to have all your
female organs removed, never being able to
have children, and death.

In 1996 I found out I had hpv after having
abnormal pap tests and the doctor doing a
colposcopy. The virus was in the first
stages so I had the abnormal cells removed
by leep surgery. Since then all my pap
tests have come back normal.
By having a yearly pap test done decreases
your chances of the virus progressing to
other stages if detected.

Doctor Says My Female Problem Is Mystery. Help !!!!! Posted: 01-14-04 23:43pm
over the past 2 yrs
I have been to the (gyn) at least 10
times. Each time the doctor tells me
there nothing wrong with me. I know
there is. The latest nurse pract. Is the
one that finally agrees theres a problem,
but is also the one that says im a
mystery.
Symtoms: I don't have the best smelling
discharge, I am extremely extremely dry
dwn there, and very swollen and irritated.
I have no sex drive and probaly could
not have a orgasm if I tryed. Also b/c I
am so dry I rarely have discharge. I
have been tested for everything herpes,
and all the std's that are curable.
I am slowly losing myself and losing hope
that I will find out what is wrong with
me. I know that I am not the only one
with these symtoms.
Hopefully god answers my prayers and
someone can relate.
Maybe its hpv, I dont know my pap's have
came back normal.

Well I have hpv, and my first test came
abnormal then I had a second opinion and
it came back normal for the mean time get
a vagianal cream w/ aloe so you dont go
crazy. Go to another doc. Get tested
for everything and try not to have
intercours in the mean time the friction
only makes matters worse . Try to relax

I have hpv and have been able 2 keep it
under control .....
But wanna know if I was 2 get pregnant is
it true that I might have to have a
c-section bcuz of the infection...
