Hello, since about a month ago i've been having lower back pain and testicle pain. I went to the doctors who give me antibiotics incase of an infection they didn't do anything so I had my urine tested and it was fine. So I went again and the doctor checked my testicles and said they where fine and booked me in for a scan at the hospital of my kidneys and bladder, that was on the 20th the scan was fine they said. But still i'm experiancing lower back pain but not so much testicle pain anymore. What seems to be happening is i'm having pain in my leg down my thigh and along my fore arm up along my 4th finger and pain in the back of my neck. This seems to happen all on one side at a time. Then switches to the other side and so on. I have no idea what this could be? If it carrys on i'll go back to the doctors. The pain in my thigh is on the inner side and seems to be linked to my testicle. It's really strange how it switches from left to right. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

sorry if i've posted this in the wrong section...

You can always ask for a second opinion. If you have pain in your testicle it could be a varicocele (check the web for info), if it's not that, it could be related to your back.

Does your occupation require you to be sitting all day? Your symptoms reflect a person who is usually sedentary sitting in front of a desk or computer.

Also, maybe stress is taking a toll on you. If you are suffering from lower back pain, my recommendation for you is to look for alternative medicine... Neuromuscular therapy is very good, it involves massage while working trigger points in the muscles and nerves. And it's a excellent alternative for those with lower back pain.

The shooting pain in your thigh could be sciatica, again, related to your back pain. You don;t say if you are overweight or not, or if you lead an active lifestyle but you can start looking for a solution right away.

Hey thanks for the reply. I do spend long hours on computers as I am on them alot at home and in college. I'm not overweight but I don't feel I am doing enough exercise lately. Also the night I posted the last message I felt very feverish and my eyes went bloodshot and I felt sick and dizy which lasted about an hour. That also happend the night after but hasn't happened since, apart from feeling sick. The symptoms seen to be ok in the day time then I feel worse at night time. Also the pain isn't constatant. As I sit here I only have a headache pain about my eye and a pain in my forth finger on my right hand. Also I noticed the pain in my thigh and right testicle when its there its sharper than the rest and seems to like come then go then come then go like "on and off" every secound. I am trying to stay off the computer as much as I can now, I havn't noticed much diffrence yet. My dad thinks its rsi from being on a computer so much but I didn't think that could effect my thigh, testicles, give me head ache and feeling sick?
