I had my gallbladder removed a week ago
today there are 4 incisions and 3 of em
are doin fine no pain and they look great
but the one at my belly button feels like
theres a big knot under it. It hurts
terrible and feels like something is
pulling it apart the entire lower half of
my belly when I stand up.There's no sign
of infection from out here, it looks ok
but man it's painful. Is this on the
normal end of things ?

I also felt the belly one the most. And
when I went for a scheduled check up a
week later, they removed the stiches from
the other thre incisions, but left the
belly ones for four more days. I can't
say it was a horrible pain, but I seem to
be imune to the pain lately. The belly
one certainly felt uncomfortable the
least. I believe all is fine. But if you
continue to have pain, then you should go
for a check up.

Yeah, I had similar pain. My belly button
spot was the worse. My gall bladder was
removed 3 and a half weeks ago. It was
almost 2 weeks before the majority of the
pain there stopped. I guess because
that's where they do most of the work and
such so it makes sense. Discomfort is
mostly gone but felt a little pull the
other night.
It will get better. I'm just so excited I
can finally sleep on my sides again! :d

The belly incision is not where the most
work is done, its where the camera goes
in. It could be it's bigger than other
instruments used, but I am only guessing.
I am the person that posted the first
reply, meaning, I also had belly pain.
I've also slept on my stomach for all my
life. And now I can again, but couldn't
for some time, because when I streched I
felt pain.
I have a feeling not everybody know what
goes where and how, so I suggest you see
the following pictures:
The lump could be a stitch & will ease
with time. If you are still feeling
uncomfortable or it becomes red, more
painful or hot to touch, you need to go to
your drs
