Daddy And Baby Should We Stay Together For the Baby Posted: 12-27-05 07:12am
Me and my old man had broken up and when I
found out I was pregnant we got back
together for the baby cause we thout it
would be better for the baby and he is
allmost here now im 31 weeks but now that
we are together agian life fills like hell
sometimes and we almost never see oneother
or talk with fighting we are trying to
make it work for the baby but I dont know
if its realy worth all the prodlems and
fighting

Please do not subject yourself to being
mistreated just for the sake of the baby.
If you were broken up, back together now
and things are the same, chances are they
will not ever change.
I am not just talking out of one side of
my mouth, here. I know from personal
experience. My baby's father and I were
pressured into marriage. He became an
alcoholic, physically and emotionally
abused me. First it was just verbal
fighting about money, etc. He then
started in with the physical abuse. I
finally had enough and left when the baby
was about 6 months old, because it was
affecting her, too.
To this day he is around 33, still drinks,
still hits his gf sometimes when drunk,
and still does not have the ambition to
get a supportive job. He has finally held
a job for the last 5 years..As a bartender
of all things. But, overall, he is still
much the same person. I am just glad that
I had the foresight to see he would only
hold me back in life, and had the courage
to leave when I did.
