Pain During Sleep Paralysis Posted: 12-28-05 23:11pm
Okay I need help with a question. I've
experienced sleep paralysis all my life,
and sometimes it is just the whole
inability to move for a few secounds to
the whole hearing noises and feeling a
presence in the room, but lately it's been
different. This summer I expereinced sp
alot , because (being summer vacation )
my sleeping routine was messed up, but in
august I had an experience but I got this
odd pain in my stomache at the beginging
of it.
Now, I know that there is usually a
crushing pain on your chest, and i've delt
with that before but this is different.
It's really hard to explain because it's
not a sharp pain, or a burning pain
either, it's just a really odd pain around
my stomache, and it only happens during
sp. The wierd thing though is that this
never happened until this august and now
anytime I experience sp it happens. I've
surfed the net but I haven't really found
anything about this, so does anybody
expreince this too, or atleast know
anybody I could email who might have
answers.
I'm really just curiious not so much of
what this pain is, but more so why it is
just happening now. Anywho, thanks for
your help!

Narcolepsy runs in my boyfriends family.
When he was younger he used to have
episodes of sleep paralysis.
He said that he was awake and he couldn't
move or see. But his brain would make a
picture of what was going on around him.
and if he tried to move or wake himself up
it would hurt really bad.
Maybe you can relate to this?
