a Little Comfort Please....

Hello. I am new here. About 3 months ago, I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks pregnany. I got a d&c and got everything removed that was not to be there. Well I found out 3 days ago that I am once again pregnant. I am very very happy but I am also very scared. I feel like at any minute I could lose it again and that everything could go wrong. I can't help these feelings. I am wondering if anyone had any advice for me concerning this issue. Anything would be helpful.

I too have had a miscarriage and my doctor told me b/c I was stressed out. I think I might be pregnant again and it scares me that I might have another. I try not to think about it. Just think about how to take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. Do some light exercising like walking or yoga, this will help relax you. Good luck and let me know.

Please do not obsorb yourself with that. It will keep you in a state of stress. Just rejoice in the fact that you are indeed expecting again, and obsorb yourself in preparing for it. Good luck hunnie

ps. I know it is easier said than done. I have had my share of miscarriages also, but even while bleeding and in the hospital, I was fighting the thoughts that "i would loose" I continually had hope for the baby's and dreamed of the future with them. And every time I would conceive again, same thing "new hope" for a bright future.

Please know that unless you have some medical condition with your reproductive system that prevents you from carrying a pregnancy to full term, many women who have miscarriages go on to have normal healthy pregnancies. It is best to try and not worry about all the "what ifs" unless something happens to give yuo cause to worry, such as spotting.

Since you had a recent miscarriage, contact your doctor immediately with any major cramping, spotting, or combination of the two. It is also important to take prenatal vitamins. My husband bought mine from walgreen's. They are the walgreen brand and have all the essential vitamins such as folic acid, calcium, the b vitamins, and iron, to name a few. Just take care of yourself, and your growing baby. Eat right, get plenty of rest when you can, and maybe do some light walking for exercise. Avoid anything strenuous, such as heavy lifting, gym workouts, etc. Good luck!

congrats!

I know that this will be very hard, but try really hard not to think this pregnancy may turn out the same way.

I lost my baby mid june, and I understand the feeling....... But if you stress it could only do harm!

Embrace this pregnancy as a new start...... Best of luck!!!

The same thing just happened to my sister. She had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, had a d&c, and just told me today that she's pg again! She is trying not to think about her last miscarriage, but just trying to go forward & hoping for the best during this pregnancy! Most women don't have multiple miscarriages...I wish you all the best sweetie!

Each pregnancy is unique dear, it doesnt mean that you had previous miscarriage its gonna happen again. You have to have a positive outlook in this pregnancy and try to be calm and get loads of rest. I lost mine last year at 8 weeks and now i'm on my 24th week=) and lookin forward to see my lil man=)
thats why I understand how you feel, I also had fears during the first trimester but I know it wont do my lil any good so I started keeping myself more occupied attending yoga classes, joining forums as support groups (it helps coz you learn a lot of infos), and spent more time with my hubby and lil girl.
Best of luck=)
