I have a sleep walking/dreaming problem where I occationally unintentinally hurt my wife by grasping her arm or attmpt to lift or drag her from the bed, resultimg in bruising to her arm. When she wakes me I cannot remember why I what caused me to do this.

I did sleep walk as a child, but the above problem continues, what action would you reccommend?

You are suffering from somnambulism. It is a kind of neurotic disorder. A psychiatrist can help give you expert help to manage the condition.
