Taking Pill At Same Time Every Day - How Much Leeway? Posted: 12-30-05 08:44am


I'm on orthotricyclen lo and have never missed a pill. I usually take it at 9:30 am, but there has been one day that I took it at 8:30 am and one day I took it at 11 am. So, my question is, within what amount of time before and after my usual time is it ok to take my birth control?

Within a few hours is definately okay! The mini-pill is the pill which is the most strict, and you have to take it within 30 minutes of when you are supposed to. An hour here or there is okay.

I agree --an hour or so, should be okay.
