Past Hautning Possible Marriage? Posted: 12-30-05 14:09pm
Ok, I am 19 and my g/f is 18. To make a
long story short, my girlfriend had her
rebellion years at about the age of
14..Which includes some drinking, smoking,
and sex, including a one nigth stand.
Now, she is totally different now, and
before I would always ask her question
after question, but i've gotten much
better with that.
My main concern is that I am afraid of any
engagement in the future, because I will
always be thinking " do I really want to
marry someone who has had sex at 14, 15
and 16...?" it bothers me she would open
her body up at this age so soon, and that
her morals were totally messed up. Does
nebody else have this problem? I just
always am thinkin there's gonna be someone
out there "better" in terms of how her
past may be..And how I could find a virgin
or something.. It's so confusing..Ne help
would be great..Thanks!!

Buddy all I got to say is as long as you
love the girl unconditionally. ,marry her
no matter what her past is as long as she
has her things straightened out involving
her morals. We all make mistakes like me
for example. I had my rebellion years at
about tha same age as hers smoking
maryjane and drinking, but that was tha
past. Now i'm doin better than ever with
my religeon. The past is nuthin but
history. As long as shes changed for
good and realized her wrong doings in tha
past than its all good. Love her and
support her cuz thats all she needs to
stay strong. And yeah I also did find it
disturbing to go out with a girl that let
loose at such a young age, but like I said
if she regrets her past, it means nothing.
God gave you two eyes in the front of
your head so you dont look back.

Hey I had the same problem with my bf
after we'd been together for a few months
he lost his virginity at 13 and had his
most different partners in a year when he
was 15 I hated the thoughts that I had
about him the same things about morals and
all that I too wondered about there being
better people out there but then I look
around and see him sleeping next to me and
realising he's here he's not sleeping with
anyone else its all me now, we've been
together almost 2 years and I dont have
that problem anymore because for me it was
my own past that made me think like that I
do councelling and dont think like that
anymore I say the same thing if she's not
that person anymore and you do love her
then you've nothing to worry about
