i once was on a drug called "zyprexa"
after going for 7 days in a mental
facility. I said I was depressed,
thinking of suicide, I heard my name being
called and when I looked no one was there
and every now and then I saw things that
weren't there. I also got paranoid alot
about the world coming to an end, going to
hell and others being against me. But
after taking the medication for a year, I
quit it altogether and have left all forms
of treatment. I was never dignosed with
anything because I didn't stay in the
treatment program long enough and told the
docters "i faked it all for attention", I
only did it because I didn't want to risk
my career choice which is law
enforcement.
After 3 years, prior to my quitting of
treatment, I am in the law enforcement
career and I don't really have schizo
symptoms anymore but occasionally I think
some of the residents at my security job
are against me, but most law enforcement
personnel think that.
My question is, could my schizoid behavior
went away when I quit and 3 years past? I
hope I have left enough information and
hope I haven't made anyone mad.

I am a mental health nurse and have been
qualified for 2 yrs saw your question good
information just wonder how old you are
and if there was a trigger for your
experiences 3 years ago? To me it sounds
like it could have been psychotic
depression, but I dont know the full
story, if you could say a little more it
would be helpful. You could always
contact ur doctor who treated you as you
are entitled to know what you were ill

You made a great move not taking
medication. They are very dangerous
stuff especially in the long run. You
can have irreversible side effects. In
addition the structure of your brain will
change. The only reason why it past fda
is because the studies were done only for
a short term.
If you're not experiencing hallucinations,
you can function with life. Take
vitamins, faxseed oil, ginkgo
biloba,etc...They are nutrients good for
the brain. Also excercise! The
better the circulation, the better your
brain will be fed.
Tom cruise was right! Psychiatrist just
made up 'schizophrenia". It's not a
mental disease. It's curable without
medication! It is really a healing
process of the brain. Medication
prohibits that from happening and actually
makes psychosis even worse. Psychiatrist
are mad! Without good drugs, they are
nothing! So they say it's safe!

hello,
thank you for replying to my post. I
started feeling that way at about age 10
(the age I started drugs, cigarettes,
drinking, I know it sounds bad but in a
small country town, there aint much to do
when your a kid). But after the hospital
experience, I quit the drugs but still
drink and smoke cigs and it may have been
caused by the drugs, I dont know. And I
am 21 years of age right now

thats a really silly thing to do - tell
people not to take medication that can
help them. A lot of people have serious
mental health problems and need medication
to help them live their lives.
What facts do you base your opinons on?
Tom cruise is just an actor, he has no
medical background to be making these sort
of accusations. If he had a mental
illness, he would realise how serious it
is.
It's very dangerous to be telling people
to not take their medication.
