i had my kidney removed aug 3rd 2005. The
reason was I had a
very small centimeter of cancer. I did
not have to have any chemo.
I had the old fashioned surgery, where
they make the larger
incision.
My question is, how long is it before you
start to feel better.
I have still a dull pressure in the area,
where my kidney was
and even at the end of a work day I can't
wait to get home
and rest, because my side is acting up.
I have been still running around alot,
once two to three months went by.
Should I take it easy again for better
healing or continue to
do the "norm" and just have to wait until
omplete healing??

I had a kidney removal about 4 years ago
I still have trouble with my side some
time it deps on the weather or the scar
tissue but my advise is to take it easy
you will never be the same when you had
the kidney removal cause I still have
trouble I was 16 at the time now im 24
