My husband and I have been seriously
trying to have a baby for 10 months now. I
went to my gyn and he told me my uterus is
slightly tilted forwarded, but that this
should not prohibit me for having a baby.
My periods are very regular. We have be
trying the basal therometer, my
temperature peaks to 98 degrees around the
12,-13 day after my period. We also follow
the ovulation calendar for the past 4
months and still nothing. Both of us are
healthy and have multiple brothers and
sisters. I feel nauseous all the time, but
I just got my period on December 27 it
last 2 days. I was really upset. Is there
anything else we should be doing?
Yes, you can start by checking your
husband's sperm count. Your husband can
request a sperm analyses (spermogram) from
his doctor. If the number and percentage
(%) of living spermatozoids is within the
norm, you can rule our the possibility of
low sperm count. Then, YOU can be
examined by your gynecologist. This
requires a vaginal ULTRASOUND examination
to detect disorders of the uterus (tumors,
malformations…) and the ovaries (lack of
ovulation, PCOS…). Several hormonal
investigations are then administered
during your cycle (estrogen, progesterone,
FSH, LH, prolactine, tiroxin)can help
clarify and administer all these
diagnostic procedures
