Diet Pills - Birth Control Posted: 01-03-06 14:18pm
Are or have any of you been on birth
control while taking diet pills?
I am contemplating on taking diet pills
but I am not sure if it is a good thing
and if it will interact with the birth
control that I am on.
I am on the junel birth control. If
anybody could give me some advice as to
what they are on or some responses to my
inquiry that would be great!
Thanks!

Hey, I actually just asked that question
yesterday in the women's health forum and
I got a reply saying it doesn't affect
your b/c pills. And from what I can find
on the internet theres nothing that
suggets that they would affect them.
Hope this helps :)

Whoa guys - ask your doctor. Just
because somebody posted something on a
forum doesn't mean they know what they're
talking about.
Just call your doctor and ask. Or even
call your local pharmacy. Your doctor is
the person to ask because he or she went
to medical school.
You don't want to mess around with your
birth control at all, and getting pregnant
by accident just because you're trying to
loose some weight is going to fire back
(you usually gain like 50 pounds when you
get pregnant anyways).
So just ask your doctor, the one who
precribes your birth control.
