Pregnant After Abortion???

I had an abortion on dec 02, I was 8 weeks
gestation. My pregnancy symptoms
dissapeared 4 days after the abortion.
It has been 4 weeks and 4 days since and I
have not had my period. I started having
sex 3 days after the abortion and keep in
mind that I did not start any form of
birth control. All of a sudden 6 days ago
I started experiencing pregnancy symptoms
(constipation, gas, headaches and
dizziness). Friday, exactly 4 weeks
after the abortion I had went to the
bathroom and when I wiped I noticed a
little bit of light colored blood along
with clear sticky discharge, this lasted
only a day. I took a hpt that day and it
said neg. Could I be pregnant??? I
called my dr but he is out of town until
next week. Help me I need some
advice....

That may have been implantation
bleeding......
I don't know how it is to have an
abortion, so it may be something women
experience after having one.

Why would you get an abortion and then not
use any form of birth control?

Could be pregnant or although you felt
like the pregnancy symtoms had gone after
4 days the hormones can take abit longer
to get back to normal it could just be
this. Like others have said if you dont
want a baby you should be using some kind
of birth control. I had an abortion over
a year ago now and the first thing the
doctor did when she saw me was to
prescribe me the pill. Regardless of
whether your pregnant or not I think you
should see your doctor when he gets back.
Good luck.

Yeah good luck. I hope to god
that you are not pregnant. So another
baby doent have to suffer the way you made
that last baby. Do you know exactly what
a baby in utero goes thru during an
abortion? Check out www.Abortiontv.Com
and you will see. It is terrible.
Oh and thanks alot for posting this in the
"getting pregnant" forum so you can piss
off all of us who are actually trying to
bring life into this world instead of
killing it. Real nice.
They should start a new forum for people
like you. How about a "im irrisponsible
and use abortion as birth control forum"
then you can all get together and feel
sorry for yourselves because you are going
to kill innocent babies.
Oh and I hope you get on some doing it
birth control asap. Baby killer.

Thats real harsh! How can you judge
somebody like that when you have no idea
of the whole situation. I agree this
probably wasnt the best forum for the post
to have been written and the post itself
doesnt make this women look v.Good but if
you are so against abortion why did you
read a post titled 'pregnant after
abortion?' I am fully aware that people
have very different views on abortion and
fair enough, but not every women finds it
an easy option and you should not go round
saying that people are baby killers
without all the details!

it generally takes up to eight weeks to
have a period after an abortion. It's
medically advised not to have sex until
seven days after an abortion, because that
area needs to heal. Also, you're
extremely fertile after an abortion, so if
you didn't use birth control, there is a
fairly good chance you are pregnant again.
Definitely get in touch with your doc as
soon as you can.

Hey I just have to put my two cents in. I
went to that abortion site. How
horrible. I almost got sick. I can't
believe people actually do that. You
deffinently came to the wrong site to ask
about abortion. Abortion isn't a form of
birth controll maybe you should buy some
or keep your legs closed. Did adoption
ever cross your mind? And if you were ttc
then why would you have an abortion. I
think we all would like to the answer to
that.

Well since you got sick, puke....And
whoever said that I had an abortion as a
form of birth control and instead of me
keeping my legs closed you keep your mouth
closed. By the way keep your two cents
next time there not worth nothing to
me....

Jordansmom, I just don't get it. Granted,
i've never been your position, so I can't
really judge. But I think we all deserve
to know why, in your other posts, you are
ttc.... And in this post, you inform us
that you just got an abortion. Which is
true? And if you are pregnant, are you
going to get another abortion? I don't
get it. Everything happens for a reason,
and if you got pregnant, there's a reason
for it. Accept the consequences; don't
run from them.

Well its hard to support someone who is
ttc and is successful..And then goes and
gets an abortion..While there are sooo
many people in here that are ttc for so
long and may never succeed or have to
struggle all the way...Or miscarry...If
you got preg by accident and decided to
have an abortion people may be more
understanding (**note; i'm not saying I
support abortion...So don't bite me**)
....But ttc and then have an abortion.Just
doesn't make sense or seem fair....

How can you ask for support, when no1
understands what you want support for.
No1 understands whether you actually want
to be pregnant or not, and if you do why
have the abortion a few weeks ago?

So dun misunderstand each others' opinion.
