Hi! I am really worried that I may be
pregnant! I have recently come off the
pill about 3 or four months ago (i cant
remember exactly) and my period was due at
least 2-3 weeks ago! Although the last
time I bled didnt seem like a real period,
it only lasted a few days and was very
thick and a dark brown in colour! I have
taken a home pregnancy about a week ago
which was negative but i still havent come
on! I am always tired and feel sick around
the same time every evening and am bloated
all the time! I have made an appointment
with my doctor but it isnt for another
week as shes all booked up! Could
pregnancy be a possibility?

If you take a pregnancy test earlier then
5 days before an expected
period(menstruation), the test results
WILL BE negative, even if you have
conceived. I suggest that you take
another pregnancy test. Pregnancy IS a
possibility when you do not take
contraceptive pills according to the
instructions, and if you are not using
some other contraceptive method.
