Q: Spotting

Okay, so i've had a few of the symptoms: decreased appetite, food makes me nauseated, sore breast that sometimes have a tingly sentation, etc.
I was suppose to start my period yesterday, so technically i'm two days late. Well, today I had a very tiny spot of pink mucus on the toilet paper when I wiped about 6 out of the eight times I peed today. It wasn't every wipe just at least once per bathroom session for lack of better words. I ovulated around dec. 16th. Could I be implanting this late or is this spotting in the first month common? I'm taking a test in the morning.

Hun u sound ok at the moment from what your saying . Keep an eye on that spotting. I had blood spotting and they were quite bigish like an old 5pence piece. If it gets worse go to your gp or hospital to get check out as it can be an infection. Thats not bad cause u can get antibiotics for it after they test u for some thing. Like blood test example.

Ok I leave it at that for now. If u post anything else like it gettin worse I will post more.

You will find out some symptoms u have pregger peeps get but if your period dont come leave it a week then test.

Make sure perios is month late then test week after that think thats what I did and got positive but mine ended in loss.

If u are preggers goodluck:)

I have never heard of appetite decrease as a symptom, i've alsways heard increase. It doesn't really sound like your preggy... I am not a doc though I would have a blood test done. Do you have cramping? Headaches? Mood swings? Temparture? Weight gain?
When I am stressed I usually just spot.

Appetite Decrease...
Well just think about this... Symptoms of pregnancy can include dizziness, nausea, vomiting and feeling light headed. Anytime you have these symptoms do you feel like eating?

With my first 2 pregnancies, I had decreased appetite...... Just keep in mind this doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant!

Best of luck :)

During the first trimester of my pregnancy I lost 10 lbs. I did not want to eat due to the nausea (i never had vomiting either.)

with my first I lost 4lbs and 10 or 11 with my second. Every pregnancy is different. Some gain only 20lbs and some can gain 100..... And some don't even gain that much... It all varies.

Michelle1981,

did you have vomiting? I know of women who have been sick their entire pregnancy. That would be awful. I thought, "this is going to be easy not to gain weight", but boy was I wrong I was at the end of my pregnancy during the holidays. I have lost 10 lbs and still have about 20lbs to go :(. She is almost 2 years old now. Hahahahahaha

i vomited once in my second pregnancy.... I was nauseas throughout my first pregnancy. I was on a med for it, which eased the feeling immensely. I end up gaining 38 pounds lol

i still have 30 pounds to go to be where I was when I first got pregnant with my first........ It's my new years resolution lol

congrats on losing 10lbs...... I know how hard it is :)

Michelle1981,

it is the hardest thing I ever had to do was to lose weight. I am also 29 so that does not help much. I waited along time to start my family. I also have the new years resolution to lose at least 10 more lbs. Good luck to you too.

I didn't spot at all today. Still no period. Yes I did test this morning and it was negative. I feel like I know my body well enough to know that I never ever spot or miss a period, so that's what's making me feel like i'm pregnant. I have had symptoms since seven days after ovulation. My biggest ones are the sore breast and the queasiness. I still have a little appetite. That's the weirdest thing to me, because I normally eat everything I see. My husband makes of me because I eat all day and don't really gain weight. But now I have a constant full feeling in my stomach and food makes me want to gag. I can only eat something that i'm craving or really really like.
I'll let ya'll know something if I test this weekend. I'm trying to stay away from the preg test for a few days. It's like when you're trying to lose weight and you keep weighing yourself. My husband will kill me if I buy more test. Lol
i'll keep ya'll informed. Thanks for the replies!

I started my period this morning. I known it is a real period because it started off bright red, heavy, cramps, clots, the whole nine yards. I'm not as upset as I expected. It's just the idea of having to wait another month and not really knowing when I am ovulating until it happens because my cycles have been 28 days, 31 days, 34 days. I'll try again this month. I won't stress as much. Last month we were having sex like robots that it wasn't fun anymore. This month i'll relax and let it come natural. I'm surrendering it to god. He knows what's in store for us.
Good luck to everyone and ya'll are in my prayers.
