I think it's normal, as long as the
bleeding isn't heavy.

hi i had my papsmear for the first time
2days ago and it stated on top reply as
long as the bleeding isnt heavy well my
bleeding was very heavy that i bled all
over the sheet and my undies when i got
home. and the doc told me its normal but i
had to pay money for the results as the
bleeding effected the results. was it
normal the way i bled i bled like half a
cup and i live with my fiance so its not
like i was a virgin.

Bleeding can happen after a pap smear...
though if it is a lot I would tell the
doctor as you did. Well, if you have
stopped bleeding then I don't think there
is anything to worry about.
The only time I bed during a pap was when
I had one the day my period was due, and I
bled a little right at the end because my
period started.

like everyone else is saying as long as
its not alot of blood and it goes away
then all should be ok :]
