Ok lets say I take pills to calm me down,
so I wont be paranoid and I could sit in a
room without being shaky, wont the pills
mess up my stomach? I don’t want that
to happen.

Pill? Posted: 01-05-06 21:34pm
What kind of pills are you taking? Do
they help you relax/ feel normal or do
they send you to a different state of
mind? I have been experiencing some
states of paranoia but nothing im too
worried about.

Hello,
i just wanted to let you know that I have
bad nerves, actually I have generalized
anxiety disorder with panic attacks. And
I am taking three different medications
none of these pills bother my stomach.
Has your mother ever thought that the
anxiety will tear up your stomach?
I mean you could get an ulcer or what I
had a few years ago... Gastritis, which
is an inflammed stomach lining causing
extreme discomfort and nausea. Anxiety
has its own damaging effects.
It all depends on the medication
prescribed to you also, but you have to
try different things and whatever works
for you hopefully will help your nerves.
Having bad nerves makes it hard to deal
with every day life.
Wishing you the best of luck.

Twitching Posted: 01-12-06 18:34pm
Well... I do not twitch but if there is a
sudden noise I will jump... I am startled
more easily I have noticed since my nerves
have gotten worse.
But I am taking medication now and I am
definitely more at ease. I am not trying
to push pills onto you or complicate
things with your mother.
My mother was somewhat the same way. I
have known something was wrong with me for
a long time. Just in the last few months
have I gotten worse. My husband kept
telling me that I needed pills and I would
not do it. I didn't want to rely on
pills to make me better.
My mother agreed with me... She said that
I didn't need pills... I just had to get
control of myself and stop being so
"foolish". Yeah those were my own
mothers words. She didn't understand at
the time but as soon as I began taking the
medications she has noticed a difference
and said that I should have been on them
long ago. So you see, there is hope for
you.
You have to take care of yourself, maybe
even go to a psychiatrist... Take your
mother with you into the session and talk
about it. She may realize that you are
needing help. Or maybe a psychiatrist
can help you and you will not need pills.
Oh, I am going to try doing yoga soon,
maybe give that a try. They say it calms
your nerves and helps rid you of stress.
Good luck.
I will be praying for you.

I have found that alot of these
medications can make you worse. What
pills are you taking, and have you skipped
a dose recently?
