Blood Test Results??????? Posted: 01-05-06 16:29pm
Does anyone know if less than a week
after conception is too soon to see
positive results from a blood test? I
thought I was pregnant and tested two
weeks after conception results today were
neg. But we had sex 4 days ago before the
results. Could there be a chance 4 days
is too soon to tell? I hope this makes
since. If not I will try and explain
better. It's kinda hard to do. I guess
there is a part of me that hopes that I
am. My boyfriend and I are getting
married but after I told him today he too
was disappointed.

Ok a few questions ... When was ur last
period when were all the times u had sex
after ur period when is ur next one due
when did u take the hpt? After u answer
all that ill be able to form a better
opinion.

A hpt will not be positive until normally
after a missed period or two.. If you get
a blood test done it can tell as early as
a week after conception. Good luck to you

Ok well I am going to make this easier for
fuzzy... My last period was dec. 17th, I
am on a 29 day cycle. According to my
ovulation calender the 31st was the peak
day, so that leads me back to my question.
I obviously had sex on the 31st
(sat.)(peak day) and had a blood test done
on wed. So what do you think?

Implantation takes up to 7 days so no the
blood test wont be accurate until today at
the earliest ... But make an appt if and
when u miss ur period and let us know how
it goes.

I think I herd that a blood test can tell
up to 2 weeks after conception... Im not
to sure on those facts...?? But yea thats
what i've herd
