I Am So Confused Posted: 01-06-06 01:37am
I am so confused. I just had my apptment
2 with my ob a few days ago. I told him
that the baby kicks alot and keeps me up
all night. He told me there there is know
way I should be feeling the baby move so
much and so hard. I am 21 weeks and 2
days. Why can I feel that my baby move so
much? And why is she kicking so hard?
But yet the doctor tells me she cant be.
What is going on?
I am vary small and only weight between
126 and 130. Could that be why?I mean I
have only gained about 6 to 8 pones.

I am indeed no medical expert, but in my
opinion that is just a bunch of bs. How
much and how hard you feel you baby move,
again in my opinion, depends on the baby's
size, position, and on your own size.
I finally started truly feeling my baby
move about 19 weeks. I say truly, because
before then I really couldn't determine
the difference between baby movements,
gas, and muscle cramps/stretches.
However, since feeling that first movement
they have only increased in frequency and
in intensity. Sometimes it feels so
strong that it seems she could be punching
or kicking straight through my stomach.
I am at about 25 weeks 3 days now.
Normally I feel my baby move a little bit
every 2 - 3 hours. Some days I barely
feel her move at all. The times that I
feel her the most, and the strongest, is
when I am laying down. So far her most
active and strongest punches and kicks
come sometime between 8 pm and 2 am. As
of my ultrasound on december 16th my
little one weighed 1 lb 3 oz. I am pretty
sure she weighs more now, because my
middle is growing bigger by the day.
I hope this helps to ease your mind a bit.

I am going to be 25 weeks in 2 more days
and I have been feeling my baby kicking
lots since I was about 19 weeks. I always
felt little things before that but they
have gotten harder, stronger and more
frequent as time goes on.
I started out weighing 103 pounds and I
now weigh 124 pounds. I have read that if
you are thin you will be able to feel more
things sooner than when you are heavier
set.

I will be 25weeks this sunday and my baby
is doing the same thing with the strong
kicks and moving around heaps which
sometimes causes me pain, im not worried
at all because he/she is moving and
obviously happy and healthy in there, now
if there was hardly any movements at all I
would be worried. So dont worry so much,
I know its uncomfortable and hard to sleep
but in the end its all worth it.
