Yeast Posted: 01-06-06 13:56pm
Okay - what remedies have women with
chronic yeast infections found helpful? I
feel like i've tried everything - yogurt,
garlic, every kind of acidophlous, sugar
free diet, the list is endless, but still
I get an infection every month. It's so
frustrating! My gp recommended I go on
the pill to balance out my ph, but I don't
do well on the pill. Has anyone got a
good suggestion? I would really
appreciate it.

I'm not sure I have any advice for you,
but what else did your doctor say to you?
Did he say why you get it every month or
which hormone was involved etc. Because
i'm similar to you and never figured out
the reason.
Any more info would be helpful, sorry I
couldn't help you though.

Ive had the same problems. Do you take
birth control? Thats one thing they
changed for me and it seemed to help.
They took me off birth contrl with 2 types
of hormones and changed me to one with
just 1 hormone to keep my body balanced.
Ive started to get them again now that im
off the pill so I dunno, that might be
something you should look into getting on
if u arent

I too have yeast infections all the time.
My doctor told me to eat less sugar, dry
myself well after showering.. All the
normal stuff. Nothing works. Ever.
It's really frustrating and gross. I've
been told that the pill often causes them.
I've never had one until I got on the
pill. I don't want to go off the pill
though because I don't want to get
preggers. Maybe someday there will be a
pill to cure them for good.

Look up hydrogen peroxide vaginal washes
on the internet.
