8-year Old Has Eye-disorder No Cure, Going Blind Posted: 01-08-06 14:05pm
8-year old has had troubles with vision
for last 2 years. Left 1/10 right 7/10
rapidly deteriorating. Priveous cases
all gone blind. Apparently this virus
goes together often with rheumatism but
not in this case, blood chart shows
nothing unusual. Treatment so far with
cortisone-drops and shots straight into
the eye, no result. Has glaucoma on the
left for wich surgery has been done,
glaucoma not completely gone. Difficult
to treat because there's no blood going
around in his eye therefore medication
doesn't reach infected area, general
eye-nerve is probably infected as well.
Please does anyone know of any other
cases, treatments, doctors, hospitals..?
