New Mommy.... Posted: 01-08-06 18:46pm
Hey everyone!!! I'm 24 weeks pregnant and
this is my first baby. I've been feeling
the baby move since I was about 19 weeks
along. I got my first ultrasound last
tuesday. My doctor was pretty sure that
it is a boy but he told me not to write it
in stone. He said that the "hamburger"
was not there (which would indicate the
labia of a female) there is a faint
outline of testies and a backage about mid
leg. I'm going again on the 1st of feb.
To find out for sure.
I am also rh(-). Which mean I have to get
a set of shots. One before the birth and
one after. Mainly because my blood type
is a(-) and my fiance's a(+). This makes
me nervous b/c w/ out the shot my
antibodies will start to attack the
baby's. If left untreated it could lead
to serious brain damage(worse case
scenerio). Reguardless...Is scary.
Does anyone else have these problems??
Lol..

Babymajjc, I have a postive blood and I
have to get the shot before and after
also, I just found this out but my doctor
also said that if I didn't have it done
that nothing would happen to this baby
it's the second that it would affect.
Hope that puts your mind at ease I also
have a book that I read up on that
particular subject.
