I remember feeling that way near the end too. And we were having an early heat wave and I just wanted him out right then. As for inducing making labour twice as long, I don't think it's true. Like michelle said every labour is diff. How far along are you?

I know how you feel, or atleast I did xd

i had my labor induced and it took me the average time for a first time mom but like everyone said, every pregnancy/delivery is different.

Good luck to you and I hope your baby comes soon ^_~

Induced Labour
Don't worry too much about being induced- I know every labour is different but induced labour tends to be quicker-but more intense-than natural labour.
I was induced with my first, my waters had broken more than 24 hours before and labour hadn't started naturally.
It wasn't that bad- lasted about 10 hours from beginning to end, but it didn't feel like that long. I had an epidural after 7 hours, so the rest was easy-peasy. I had no illeffects from the epidural, I didn't even need stitches. Baby was fine too.

It'll happen whatever way it needs to happen, and theres not much you can do to make it happen sooner, or the way you want it to.
Try to remember, it's just a means to an end-every contraction brings your baby that much closer to your arms.

Good luck !!!
