Late Baby Shower And Im Doing It All Bye Myself Posted: 01-09-06 14:44pm
Me and my old man just move to a new town
so we can be closer to his family and
friends all my family lives out of state
and I dont know hes family well to have
any of them thoue me a shower so im doing
it my self with the help of a friend but
we are having a hard time putting it
together and the baby is due at the end of
the month all of my old mans family want
me to have a shower but none of them realy
want to help I realy want on to but im
running out of time and im ready to have
the baby every one is going to be here
this weekend and I have nothing done and
no idea of what im doing dose any one have
any ideas

At this late date there isnt much you can
do and I wouldn't worry if I were you.
It's a little to late to register, if you
already haven't. Just put inside the
invitation a list of things the baby needs
and have them shop from that. You can
also ask them to attach a gift receipt to
the gift, that way if you receive more
than one of something, or something you
don't want, you can exchange it for
something else. For food, you can ask
your guest to bring a dish or you and your
friend can make finger sandwhiches, get
some chips and nuts, make a cake or buy a
cake and then that's done. You can always
find a list of baby shower games on the
internet and some don't require props,
like "how many words can you make out of
the words baby bhower" or "guess the size
of mommy's belly" simple thing like that.
Don't stress. If you think simple, you'll
be fine.

For one dont stress your self thats not
good for the baby and that's the main
importance... Ur letting the time u have
left play with your head... If ur only
doing it with his family and friends you
can write a small list of what you need in
the invatations pass those out and get
some finger food cute decorations and look
up on the internet some fun baby shopwer
games... By some little prizes sweety and
thats about it... A baby shower is not as
stressful as your maken it out. It's
should all pull together with in less then
a week... Trust me make it simple hun
