Pain
Posted: 01-10-06 04:47am

Ok guys sorry to be so graphic but i've been through the typical period cramps and now sometimes I have pain when passing gas or having a bowel movement. I'm not really straining or anything, just gas moving around in there and usually only on my right side (like between hip bone and uterus).

Just wanted to see if this was normal or if anyone else was experiencing it.

Thanks

Hey im 7 weeks pregnante adn the entire time, I have had the same exact symptoms you've been having. Ive had period like cramps which I posted about when I first discovered I was pregnante because I was concerned with what was going on. Eventually at about 6 weeks they went away. I will have an occasional cramp nothing bad.But a mild feeling pretty much. Gas...And constipated is something that hurts me when I go to the bathroom too. I wont strain or anything im just not using the bathroom as much as I did befor ei got pregnante. I dont have to strain but it is a little bit more complex than it was before.. Its also gotten better here lately as well. So I think what your going threw is pretty much normal with some women. How far along are you? Hope thats some comfort.

Kryss,
thanks for the reply. I am 11 weeks and this only started about a week ago and I really have only had it 2-3 times and usually at night and when I wake up in the morning it is better. Really strange. I told my mother in law last night that I am pregnant, (we haven't boke the news yet, waiting till after the 1st trimester is over)she is basically an ob/gyn and she said it could be nothing and it could be something. As long as it doesn't change, like get worse or last longer. I had an u/s done on monday and we could see the heartbeat and movement so that is reassuring, it's just one of those worrisome things.

Thanks again for the reply, hang in there!!
