Hi. I'm on bc pills and have been for
about 9 months. I've never missed a pill
and have only been late taking them a few
times, but only like a few hours late.
I'm pretty sure I haven't even been late
taking them anytime in the last two weeks
at the least. My boyfriend and I had sex
on sat. (jan. 7th) and everything was
fine. I don't usually take showers after
we have sex, though. Usually not until
the next day. I don't pee right after
either. (i'm going to start doing all
this though, since I just now read that it
was a really good idea.) well, just today
(jan. 10th) when I peed it smelled kind
of funny. Not disgusting or anything,
just different. And at the end it kind of
hurt a little bit. There was also just a
small amount of pink on the tissue and I
don't know where exaclty it came from.
That only happened this morning- I peed a
few minutes ago and nothing was there. I
also kind of feel like I still have to pee
even though I just peed. This isn't
pregnancy or anything is it? Is it a uti
or something like that? If so, what can I
do? Thanks.

It sounds like you most likely have a
urinary tract infection (uti). The reason
it's better to pee before and after sex is
to avoid getting a uti. I would call your
doctor and tell them your symptoms. If it
is a uti, they will want to put you on
antibiotics.

It's most probably uti but I highly
recommend that u go and see the doctor
because it can also be a std. Did u know
that uti was a std? Because ur not using
a condom, and ur not taking a shower
after, the bacteria is just sitting in
there. Not a good idea. But to be safe
go to the doctor.

A uti is not an std! You don't just get
it from sex!
