Q: Lost Ept Instructions- Help

I have my early-morning urine sample just waiting to be tested with ept, but the test came from a 2-pack kit and I accidentally threw away the instructions and box. If you are going to dip the test stick, how many seconds do you hold it in the urine? Is it 20 seconds for the dip method?

I am trying to remember from having taken a previous ept brand test, if the 5-second rule was for the "stream" method and the "dip" method was 20, or the other way around. I do recall that one method was longer than that 5-second interval.

Thanks for the reply ... This is so nerve-wracking and I do not have anybody to go through this with.

Sweetie, dip it in the urine for 20 seconds. You're supposed to keep it in the stream for 5 seconds, and dip for 20.

Now take that test and let us know what the results are. Good luck!

Well sometimes a women doesn't produce enough pregnancy hormone to have a positive home preg. Test. If you still suspect you are I would go to your doctor and get a blood test. Good luck, and keep us updated!
