Auditing Doctor/hospital Bills? Posted: 01-11-06 14:37pm


I have recently been to the e.R., and I think some of the charges are wrong. There are things on the bill that I know they did not give me. Also I got the seperate physician's bill, and she charged almost $800 for seeing me for no more than 15 minutes...It was probably about 10. So has anyone ever had a bill audited or have any info on it? I have found some online companies but they mostly only will do it for large groups and employers. I also paid one of the bills already but I know there is cost-recovery. So does anyone know of any places for hospital bill auditing and/or cost recovery? Thanks!
