Is spotting just a one off bleed? Can it happen before your period due? And what does it mean? I didn't have my period last month, I aint had one since 20 november, what do you all think?
Grateful for all replys

Spotting can be caused by many different things. Since your last period was nov 20th, i'm thinking you may be pregnant. Have you had intercourse between then and now? Spotting during pregnancy can be very normal. If you take a pregnancy test and it comes out negative, I would call your doctor. There may be some other explanation as to why you haven't had a normal period since then.

Yeah I have had intercourse between that time. I am also on the pill but have been forgetting to take it. What could the other reasons be?

I'm not exactly sure what else it could be. Your doctor would be able to tell you better than any of us.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that you are pregnant. Especially since you have been forgetting to take your pills. My best friend has a beautiful 3 month old son, but he was the result of her forgetting to take her pills regularly.

If I were you, I would take a pregnancy test and go from there. If it comes out negative, call a doctor. It could be that your system is out of balance with you missing your pills. Or it could be something else, but I have no clue.

Spotting usually occurs during implantation, when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall. This can cause a little bleeding.

When does that happen? Does it feel like your period?

Being that I have never been pregnant, I wouldn't know exactly what it feels like.

But friends/family members who have been pregnant have said it feels like period cramps but with just a little bleeding, or spotting. It can last one day to a week or so.

Sorry if i'm not helping at all, just trying to give my best advice!
