Negative Pregnancy Test’s, No Period Very Frustrated! Posted: 01-11-06 15:39pm
I haven’t had a period in over 9 weeks,
my period as always been irregular, so the
time in-between my periods have always
varied.
I have always had protected sex, and
nothing has been wrong with the condoms,
me and my partner checked the condom.
I want to mark it up to stress. That
could have delayed my ovulation. This is
what I have had to deal with.
I had finals in college two weeks before
christmas.
Then on the my grandma got really sick (i
was the one who found her) and is now in
health care, and not doing so well.
Plus I got really sick for about 5 days
before and during christmas.
The thing is I have taken 5 first response
pregnancy test’s all coming up negative,
my latest one was yesterday, and it came
up negative.
Am I alone in this?
Has anyone been really annoyed of the
stress of not knowing, and just getting
frustrated when you have no period and
negative hpt’s?
Argh, mads

9 weeks is a very long time to not have
your period for, and it very well could be
stress. Pregnancy tests are usually
pretty acurate. I think you should go to
the doctors to get tested there. Even if
your not pregnant you should see your
doctor because its been so long not
getting your period that it could be a
completley different problem.
I know I was stressed once about being
preg.. And once my doc confirmed I wasnt,
I got my period that nite

I think you should see a doctor and don't
trust home tests. My friend thought she
was prego and took a test it said she
wasn't. I went with her and her boy
friend cause she wasnted to get put on bc
she came out of the doctors office and she
was like I am 6 weeks preg. Also this
other chick I know took like 3 tests and 2
said she was and 1 said she wasn't so she
went to the doc b/c she though she was
after the tests. Fund out that she
wasn't. I don't really know if you should

Me and 2 of my children waiting patiently
until 7 weeks to get positive pregnancy
test. The blood test dr can do, is more
accurate and sooner. Some women never
pass the urine pregnancy test.
There are a number of things that can
cause missed mensus also, including
stress. So I think you should go to the
dr for an examination. At the very
least, they will findout if you are indeed
pregnant.
Good luck

I'm kinda in the same boat...I don't know
what to think.
I've missed two periods now. My hubby
and I had sex the week or two before I was
supposed to get a period. So then I had
an extremely heavy one. We had sex once
since then, and i've missed 2 periods
since then too. I'm on birth control,
and am very very faithful in taking it.
When I missed my period the first time I
tested twice and it was negative.
I told michelle1981 about this earlier.
I also had the flu the week before/after
(can't remember) that heavy period, and
she mentioned that anitbiotics can mess
with birth control. So I will test
tomorrow and see what happens??? I have
no symptoms of pregnancy, besides
heartburn sometimes and upset stomach, and
i've been drooling alot in my sleep
(grossssss) I heard you have extra saliva
when you are pregnant. But to me upset
stomach and heartburn are things I get
alot anyways so this might just be normal.
In my mind, pregnancy is out of the
question, and I don't see why I really
would be unless for some reason that .01%
of a chance that the birth control didn't
work is the reason. But I don't
understand why I would be missing my
periods though. Not even a drop of
anything.
