Left Sided Discomforting Pain Posted: 01-12-06 04:52am
For 5 years I have been thrown from the
doctors to the psychologists and back
again, done everything asked of me, taken
the ssri's, and various pain killers, and
searched the depths of my psyche,
i have always been certaian this is not a
psychological problem, (2 psychologists
both agree) since the physical symptoms
began about 3 months earlier, when life
was wonderful, a very severe head pain on
the top left, followed by really severe
spins, doctor then thought tonsils, though
the nurse who tested blood pressure wasnt
so sure. Next came a tingling in top lip,
followed by a gravel sensation on top of
head to the left, then what I can only
explain as a charge up the spine to this
same area,
(the psychological kicked in at this time,
though there were personal issues involved
here and I believe they overlap)
other considerations, forgetfulness,
balance problems, shoulder, neck and arm
pain, weakness, though not shooting, all
on the left, the latter being related to
either state of mind due to pain, or
injury to neck and head when young which
may be the problem, though when I
suggested mri I was to have should include
this, I was assured it wasnt needed,
this pain is 24 hours, its there if i'm
happy, stressed, relaxed, it's not like a
migraine,
palate rises when pain is more severe, and
lump under left ear, both seem to be
closely connected to problem
there have been suggestions, tia, a
neurologia, a heart issue, even lyme
disease as I spent alot of time in eastern
europe, whiplash due to injury when I was
nine, kicking in latently
tmj, though there is no clenching of
teeth, however this fits with the lump
under ear
anyone got any ideas,
