Yes...With my first son I had a completely normal period the first month. I didn't think anything of it until I missed the next 2...When I went to the dr, I was almost 16 weeks.

Jmegee...Did you take hpt's and did they come up negative??? You sound just like what i'm going through right now. I had a real "normal/heavy" period and missed my last 2, but my home tests are negative.

See my period was late I was supposed to start around christmas or close to the new year and I didn't get it until the 7th. I took 6 hpt and they all came out very faint positive. But I did bloodwork on the 30th of dec and it came back negative. My period is a little lighter this time and I didn't have any blood clots like I normally do (sorry tmi) and I don't know if its just holiday weight but in two weeks I have gained about 6 and 1/2 pounds!! And I run 5 miles 3x a week!! So I don't know what to think. But my period has lasted 7 days like normal. So just not as heavy. Also I didn't get any cramps until today the 13th. I don't get normal cramps I get them in my hips and theighs. Weird but I according to doc's its normal for that to happen. So today I started getting the cramping in my hips and my period is pretty much done.
Any comments???

My mother had a period every month with her 6 month baby.

And I myself just like "jmegee" had one full blown, cramping period with one of my pregnancy's. Thought I was 3 months when I went to .Dr but I was 4 months.

I never took hpt unitl I missed the 2nd one. I had no idea I was pregnant. What has me confused this time is 2 negative hpt's but i'm having headaches, sore nipples, heartburn, bloating, and my face and neck is broke out like a teenager. Within the past year I kept getting negative hpt's and miscarried twice at about 5 or 6 weeks.
