I usually ignore people who write things
like "ne1" because obviously
they are in too big a hurry to write or
are just way too cute... But i'm bored,
so i'll bite.
1..
Gender/age male, 56
2.. How
long have u smoked? I smoked for 35
years -- quit 4 years ago my last birthday
(sept.)
3.. Have
you noticed any side effects from
smoking? a couple: yellow teeth,
bad breath, stinky clothes, smelly car and
house, hacking cough, sickening phlegm,
emphysema, heart attack, having to be on
oxygen almost 24/7, sucking inhalers 6 or
8 times a day, and just recently came home
from the hospital with a new toy -- a
nebulizer. Other than that, no.
4.. Have
you ever tried to give up? a lot of
times. So many times that even now that I
have not smoked in over 4 years and always
seem to have an o2 hose in my nose, I
won't say i'll never smoke again.
Insidious, hu?
5.. When
do you need to smoke? when I did
smoke, I smoked all the time. I sucked
down to the filter 3 packs a day. I would
not go 10 or 15 minutes without a human
unless I had to. It didn't start out that
way, of course. I remember when it was
less than a half pack a day.
6..How do
you feel when u smoke? sated,
comfortable, less nervous, not hungry,
cool, awake -- just about everything one
could feel until finally I just felt sick.
I wish I woulda felt sick the very first
time and every other time that I stuck a
cig in my mouth.
There, I feel better now.
