freaks me out he said takes time to get
use too the skin on the neck get hot at
times then a weird burning tingling
feeling on the side where the node is then
up the head is this stress too? I lost 12

about st johns worth) for it trying to
talk myself into its ok relax lol but man
it is hard takes time I guess someone said
it takes you longer to let go of the
anxiety then it did to make you that way I
wish I could let it go..

makes me feel better knowing others are
same as me & the things I feel are not
a sickness but stress
if anyone wants to chat about it I sure
can use the talk thanks again be on
tonight hoping for a anxiety friend my
family just say let it go!
If it was that easy I would have done it 4
weeks ago

Hi there,
i have small swollen nodes in my throat
and neck I had them checked out by a scan
and all was fine, just caused by catching
constant colds and glandular fever. If
your doc says it fine then they are
usually right.
The thing is with anxiety you can`t seem
to quiet the voice in your head telling
you something wrong, any little change in
your body you automatically think that
something really bad is happening. Ask
anyone on here they have probably self
diagnosed themselves with numerous serious
illnesses.
Anxiety is really hard to deal with and it
does take longer to get rid of than it
does to develop. You are best to try to
find some relaxation that works for you,
keep your mind occupied, do what you love
to do and try not to focus on yourself and
how you feel too much bcos then you start
to fear what you feel and it starts off
lots of horrible sensations. Even speak
to someone about how you feel, it really
does help.
Good luck

Thanks deb
yes I found the more I talk about it the
more I feel better
at 1st I was keeping quite letting others
think I was ok dealing with it then I
started talking
well more ppl talked saying oh yes I was
like that yrs back oh yes so & so
yes makes me feel a lot better knowing the
things I feel are in my head not me being
sick or thinking something worse would
come out of it the sec doc said this is
now a normal node it didn't;t go down all
the way
but feels like nothing serious ( but I
feel the lump creepy) so I am letting go
of it but takes time
muscle tension still there but I try to
think positive about it too
hope your doing ok?
I am a mom of 2 boys just 7 & 9 they
need me strong & healthy for a long
time yet for them I have to make myself
well
any time you want to talk I am here thanks
again

Oh i`m so glad your feeling a bit better
about it. It`s really hard with anxiety
because you constantly have to try to talk
yourself out of negative thinking.
I`m only 25 and have missed out on so much
over the past year due to my anxiety but
i`m getting better. If you need any other
help just send me a message as I have
tried most things and could maybe forward
you some of them.
