Well im 8 weeks pregnant today! Yay! Around the 7th week I started feeling neasous, no puking just neasua. Well tonight me and my boyfriend went out to eat and I ate alot of greasy stuff. Bloomming onion, fish fry and french fries. Usually I have an iron stomach...But alas 3:30 in the morning I threw up. I felt much better afterwards, but now im afarid im gonna be puking all the time. Do you think it was just from the overload of greasy foods? What are some tips to curb morning sickness? Thanks so much! I'm also almost positive its not a stomach flu becuase I havent been around anyone who's been sick. I also threw up my prenantal vitiman...Is it ok to miss one for a day? Thanks again!

My suggestion is just to eat lighter meals.(lighter as in less food) never too full when pregnant. Just eat more times per day.

I cooked gallons of chicken soup and we almost had to buy a saltine factory for my wife in her first 4 almost 5 months of pregnancy.

She would be so hungry, eat, throw up, and come back and eat and then start all over again.

It would probably be a good idea to ask your hubby or mom or someone to cook up a bunch of lightly seasoned chicken or turkey or even vegetable soup and get lots of saltine crackers and ginger ale.

It was a miserable time for my wife but once she was done being sick, it was like a miracle. She just didnt get sick again. It was finally over.

Also, do like joanna said, eat light meals many times a day. The baby will get all the food it needs by default but you can become very malnurished because you cannot keep food down for the 2 of you.

Another think nicole did was eat peanut butter toast in the morning. That would stay down and nestle chocolate milk. They are not cheap but I could have her breakfast done and her lunch packed in 10 minutes before she had to be out the door.

Good luck,
brian

My doctor told me to eat more but spread it out during the day. Dont try to eat all I want at once. I had a serious problem with nausia but doing this had helpped me alot with it. I have not thrown up since . Lol

From what I saw with my wife, there is nothing that will help! She also had a prescription for promethazine suppositories and they helped a very little bit but it did not stop her from throwing up! It helped her to not have to throw up multiple times at a meal.

It is horrible for the person going through it but it does end at some point and then it is smooth sailing from there. (at least for us it was)

Eating For Two!
Maybe this is like an omen, a reminder that you are feeding your little one inside of you. You may not can control the nausea and throwing up, but you can control what goes into your body. Start by eating healthy, if not for you for this baby. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, proteins( turkey and chicken).........All the fried foods are clogging your arteries....Imagine what toll its taking on this baby! You have other things to consider now when you eat! This baby should be your number one priority! :d

Yes fairy godmother eating a good diet is important but I will give the advice my wifes ob gave.

Eat anything that will stay down with the exception of shellfish because they contain high levels of pollution that is not too dangerous for adults but can affect the baby seriously.

If mcdonalds double cheeseburgers are the only food that you can get in you without throwing up, eat them and do not feel bad. As long as you get your prenatals down and they stay down, the baby will be great!

We tried the b.R.A.T. Diet for about 1 week and by the end of it I really was afraid for my life..... Lol

like I said before, I cooked chicken soup and packed saltines for months, if she wanted anything it actually wasn't mcdonalds it was wendys cheese burgers and medium frostys.

I actually gained weight durring pregnancy because our diet was so horrible but I had to do everything I could to get food in her belly!

Also, don't forget to drink lots of water! We had the er run due to dehydration from sickness and I knew we were going to get hit with a bag of fluids and a $1500 hospital bill because she was dehydrated and that was exactly what it was. So please if your husbands are begging you to drink water even though you are throwing up, drink it dont throw it at them ;)

I puked a lot during the first few weeks and still do (just not too often as I controle what I eat) I am 9 weeks preggers and durning the first 6 weeks I was only able to eat oranges without throwing up. But I had to force myself to eat other things just not greasey stuff. Now I only throw up stuff that doesn't sit well.

Eating crackers or sipping on ice or ginger ale didn't help me too much.
