Symptoms Related to Undiagnosed Epilepsy

i suffer from jerks in my head and neck which make me feel like i am going to collapse and feel very dizzy i have suffered from this for years but is now getting worse i always feel fatigued especially in my legs after these jerks. i have been on epilim and lamotrigene and have tried clonazepam in the past 2 years but nothing works.it affects me daily also when i try to sleep or rest my heart pounds heavily and i have palpitations and my chest tightens it is getting worse do u think it is myoclonic epilepsy or maybe heart related my neurologist suspects it might not be myoclonic epilepsy. thank you any reply would help

Your heart/chest symptoms are probably the result of mental suffering caused by epilepsy rather than being directly related to the epilepsy. An ECG has to be done to exclude some heart disease, however. An EEG and CT-scan can also be done to diagnose the type of epilepsy. You will need expert help from a neurologist and a mental health professional during this time.
