Encondroma - Symptoms In a Young Boy Posted: 01-16-06 22:04pm
My 15 year old son is complaining of
constant pain just below his left knee.
He has a encondroma (diagnosed by an
orthopedic surgeon in sept/05). He had
sustained a fracture just below the knee
(jumped down from a 1 metre height which I
thought was strange since it's not like he
came down hard on his leg. I am
concerned that there is something wrong
with his bones in his left knee and that
he should get further tests done.
Does anyone have advice re: what types of
tests he should have done and how to
advocate with his family physician to make
sure this problem is dealth with.
Thanks so much! Any feedback would be
appreciated.
