Is Common to Not Find Out That You Are Preg. When 3 Wks Late Posted: 01-17-06 08:41am


I have had pretty regular periods for forever and now I am 18 days late with a neg result, but I am going to the doctors today to possibly have an internal sonogram done so maybe, hopefully I will get some good news or I will be told that I have a strange body. I don't know cause I have like 35 to 40 day cycles so I don't know if it is because of that that I can't tell or what, maybe I am just crazy. I feel pregnant, but like many other woman have been saying on here, our bodies are tricky and we could be convincing ourselves that we are. Anyone ever gotten an explanation for not being able to tell this late?

Some women do not produce enough of the pregnancy hormone to have an accurate hpt...They usually are able to find out on a blood test. Good luck! I hope you get the results that you are looking for!
