Hi,
my friends parents (she is 28, I am 24)
are recently seperated, her mum ran off
with her dads best friend, after an affair
of nearly 7 years and she is not coping
and I do not know what to say or do
please I really want to help and comfort
her through this but would like any advice
to help me do this.
She hardly speaks to her mum and is
finding she has to be with her dad every
second she has free......Ihe feels that he
has nothing to look forward to
anymore...Hes coming up to his 60th
birthday and now she is getting depressed

Ouch! Adultery is never a pretty thing.
I'm sorry to hear about it.
I don't think there's a whole lot that you
can do, ran_dom. Let your friend know
that you are there for her if she ever
needs anyone to talk to or a shoulder to
cry on. Just keep yourself available and
she'll come to you if she needs to. The
best thing you could do right now is
listen if she wants to talk.
Good luck. I hope everything gets
better.
