Ok so early sunday night at 3:30 in the morning I threw up. I assumed it was morning sickness since I have been feeling neasous the last few weeks. Well at 7:30 in the morning that same day I noticed what looked like bug bites on my arms. So, I figured ok then odd. Later that day they got worse and they looked very similar to hives. So I took a nap...And woke up puking up bile, since I hadnt eaten anything since the last time I threw up. So around 1 am on monday I told louie we had to go to the emcercncy room. I couldnt move and the rash was getting worse. So went to the emercency room and we had to pull over so I could puke again...It was so bad all I was doing was dry heaving. We got to into a room and the doctor said it was the most impressive case of hives he's ever seen. So they sent a guy in to take my blood. Now mind you im already serverly dehydrated from puking for almost 12 hours. They took 11 viles of blood. No joke. I puked after that incident too. So at 8 in the morning on monday they admitted me to the hospital. Basically what happened was I got a stomach virus, and becuase im pregnant and I have alot of new hormones running through my body, it reacted differently to being sick, hence the hives. I was so deyhrated and sick it wasnt even funny. The babies fine. They did an ultrasound just to make sure and its heartbeat is normal. So thats good. I'll have the sonogram pic up as soon as I can. But yes im better now...I got home about 30 minutes ago. My hands and feet are still swollen but almost all of the hives are gone and I can eat soild food again. I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experince to mine...Cuz one of the doctors said first time mothers sometimes do this???

The doctor has to be right. I have never personally experienced it but i'm sure it is possible. That must have been horrible. I'm soo sorry that you had to go through that and I hope it never happens to you again!!
