Stupid Question....
Posted: 12-26-03 14:14pm

I've been trying to conceive baby #2 for a while, but everytime that i'm ovulating and hubby & I have sex, I spot a little the next day, or later that day...Is this normal? It didn't happen with my first so it's a little different.

Also do any of you believe in the tempature readings that some people believe doing? And how successful do you think it is if you do use it? Rolling Eyes

Hi mello,

it is normal to be spotting, it could be implantation bleeding. Many women spot bleed after sex.

As for the temperature readings to determine when you are ovulating, yes apparently it is correct. My doctor actually told me that when we are ovulating, our body temperature rises. I don't use it myself, because I can't be bothered taking my temperature all the time. I prefer to use the ovulation kits that are available at supermarkets or drug stores.

Good luck

Unfortunately I don't think it's implatation b/c it's happened the last 4 months!! Lol!! Wink

my doctor didn't think the temperature thing was worth the time, but I saw a lot of postings that said it was a good thing; I personally don't think I have the time or patience to do that Laughing but I would make time if needed. Thanks for the reply!
