Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A227 Posted: 01-29-06 09:06am
It is difficult to be sure if spotting is
evidence of a period or if you have really
missed your period. Performing a pregnancy
test, however, can answer this question.
Watery discharge could be a sign of
pregnancy but it can also indicate a
vaginal inflammation(infection). SYMPTOMS
are individualized during any condition.
Diagnosing symptoms depends upon both the
nature of a condition and a patient’s
personality. Symptoms of one condition (or
disease) differ according to the
individual. Additionally, there are SIGNS
which signal a doctor towards diagnosis
during an examination; they are much more
reliable when identifying, diagnosing, or
treating a condition or disease. For
example: SYMPTOMS OF PREGNANCY are nausea,
vomiting in the morning, heartburn,
changes in the appetite, wish for specific
foods, constipation, often urinating,
tiredness, insomnia, fatigue, headache,
anxiety,… All these symptoms may or may
not be present in every pregnancy; SIGNS
OF EARLY PREGNANCY are increased
pigmentation of the skin, enlarged breasts
with more pigmented areola, swelling of
the extremities, specific gynecological
founding( soft cervix, enlarged and soft
uterus), positive pregnancy test,
ultrasound detection of the embryo.
Missing a period is both a symptom and a
sign od pregnancy. All these signs may be
more or less certain of a positive
pregnancy. Of all the methods, a pregnancy
test followed by an ultrasound detection
of a fetal heartbeat are the most secure.
Each pregnancy may have different
SYMPTOMS present in one or more women but
the SIGNS are always the same in any
normal pregnancy.
