The Difference between Levlite and Ortho Tri-Cyclen Posted: 01-21-06 19:21pm
I wanted to know what the results are for
most Levlite takers? I am considering
taking this bc the ortho tri- cyclen has
too much estrogen change.

Both contraceptive pills Levlite and
Ortho-Tri-Cyclen belong to the group of
low-dose estrogen birth control pills. The
estrogen component is the same in both:
ethinyl estradiol. The difference between
the two is found in the progesterone
component. Levlite is composed of
levonorgestrel; Ortho-Tri-Cyclen is
composed of norgestimate. Both drugs are
used in the same way and have the same
results, side-effects and
contraindications.
