The only time in my life that I spotted was my very first period and when I had implantation bleeding... Neither one of them hurt. Right after implantation bleeding ended then the cramps came. But i've herd since implantation bleeding is the egg burrowing into your uterus you can experience cramps

Periods and implantation bleeding is quite differnt since when u have a period im sure you know what that is like and with implation bleeding its just a bit of blood being brown or pink and is very light, like only when you whipe, personally I never had this because I am not preggerz but I have read alot so yea. There u go on that part.. And for the hurting thing I never really knew periods hurt, the only thing ever happens to me is boobs get tender and I get cramps, but then again I always get cramps..
