first you should list the various symptoms
you're having. You didn't give us much
to go on. Then list the things that
you've already ruled out.
In terms of how to get better, I would
suggest becoming accountable to an adult
who will help you through this. Be sure
to eat right, take sufficient vitamins,
try to get sleep... In other words try
to do everything you can to eliminate
causes from your environment and from your
food. Also, try exercise, even though
you won't feel like doing that.
I don't have any answers for you, i'm just
a fellow sufferer. You are not alone,
and you'll get past this and have a normal
life!

My Syptoms Posted: 01-24-06 08:29am
I get muscel aches
twitches
lump in my throut
cant breath some times feels like my
tongue as swollen
feel sick get palpertation
get the shakes
get tension head aches
Those sound like anxiety symptoms to me.
Did you get a blood test from your doctor?
If not, insist on one, and make sure
they check thyroid and sugar levels. If
you haven't done any research to look for
a cause of your anxiety, you need to do
that first. I suggest keeping a journal
of everything you eat and start taking
your heart rate about 3-5 times per day,
noting when you feel great, ok, or bad,
etc. That way you can start to evaluate
yourself scientifically to see what your
"normal" heart rate is compared to when
you feel "bad", and you can start to see
for yourself if it's caused by outside
environment. No doctor will do that for
you.
But the first thing is to make sure your
doctor is on your side by insisting on
checking the most obvious causes, and that
is usually a blood test.

Hang in there vicki, there are many, many
people in the world who suffer as you do.
You are not alone. And there's some
really good medicine out there you can
take to relieve the symptoms. Talk to
your doctor about it.
Assuming that your blood tests are fine, I
can think of at least 3 things you should
do:
1. Get some immediate help to relieve
the symptoms. This might be taking
medicine on a limited, short-term basis
just to get past the really bad time you
are having right now. For example, i've
used xanax a few times when things got
real bad.
2. Get long term relief. This will
be whatever works for you, such as diet
changes, exercise changes, more sunlight,
seretonin enhancing foods and teas,
progressive muscle relaxation, and many
other good natural remedies. Or maybe
you'll need to take some medicine on a
long term basis, like zoloft or welbutrin.
Again, talk with your doctor about all
your options.
3. Find out what's causing all of this
anxiety for you. This investigation
will probably have to be done mostly by
you, either through keeping a journal of
everything to see if you have allergies,
or to see if certain foods cause it, or
certain situations, etc. I could
suggest a couple good books that have
helped me, but you should do your own
research.
God bless you and hang in there. Let us
know how your tests come back.

Depression Posted: 01-26-06 07:34am
Hi all
well they told me that im suffering from
depression and axiety at the same time
they have given me diazipan to keep me
going untill the tablets kick in for the
depression as these can take a couple of
weeks. I just want to be normel again I
feel like im in a tunnel and I dont see no
light at the end but the doctor seems to
think it will come but when I dont no
vicki
Hang in there. In addition to the
medicine I suggest trying some of the
natural solutions, such as exercise,
progressive muscle relaxation,
vitamins/supplements, etc. The best book
i've found that documents most of these is
"natural relief for anxiety" by edmund j.
Bourne.
