Should People Be Allowed. . . Posted: 01-24-06 12:49pm
To all the religous folk who feel the need
to push their belifs in others faces-you
should keep your religon to
yourself.People come to this site to get
help not to be degrated by your
comments.Do you think god likes you using
him to hurt others for what they have
done?

Some of these people are really low and
need help, and even if you believe that
help needs to come from god, people know
where the church is if they want to try
that, this is for human, flesh and blood
advice.

Well, since .God is the creater of all,
and our "best" chance for healing and
health--why not give the pple reading the
posts the chance to decide if they would
want .His help or not??? Maybe this is
just the help they need, who is to say
when a person will find himself in need of
.God's help. What if he has cancer and
.God is the only healing he will ever
receive, or .God forbid he is on deaths
door, and needs salvation. These little
words of faith or examples of someone else
getting a miracle from .God might be his
only chance to die, and go to
heaven--instead of hell. Who are you to
say he dont deserve the chance to "choose"
for himself what he wants to hear. Every
one else is screaming--"my choice I dont
want to hear it," but what about the guy
who says, "my choice I wanna hear
something good." something with faith in
it, with truth in it, something tangible
to hold onto.(like a miracle healing, or
the best miracle of all salvation!!!)
something to help my discouragement and
only .God can do that. Only .God can.
How can any of you be an expert on
something you know nothing about. If you
did know anything about healing,
prosperity, love, joy, and peace which
only .God can give you---you would not
even think these things.

i am not speaking on something I do not
know about.I do know about it because I am
religous. You are right in what you say
fatfamily, but I am talking about people
running around shoving their beliefs down
others throats and using god to make them
feel bad for what they have done, when all
they have done is come here for help. There
is nothing wrong with religion, its how you
use it and what you say to others.

I voted no but they are going to anyway,
their are too many religions and it just
turns into a fight or a debate and that is
when we stop helping and the forum starts
going down the tube, just my opinion. If
they want a god forum they can do one
separately.
Hey fatfamily02 how was the tests and what
did the dr say?

You would be right if all religious people
do on these forums would be to make
themselves available, and offer the right
to choose, but instead they judge other
people and exacerbate their problems. Who
do they think they are to judge other
human beings?

Your right,if they are so religous, don't
they stop to think that god does not
judge,so why should they? And even
more, use him against others in their
judgements!God loves everyone (don't mean
to offend anyone who doesn't believe in
him) so there should be no judgments made

well I have posted on this topic once
already in another forum..I kind of find
this thread stupid because for one
...There is always going to be a fight
about religion..Mainly because everyone
has their own beliefs...And posting this
thread only brings arguments up ...Because
just like I said everyone isnt going to
agree on the same exact thing..Religion
will be brought onto every forum weather
it be this one or another one...Because
there are people who live day to day by
the bible and there are others who believe
nothing the bible says...I think its
alright to post what you belive in but not
bash others for what they do/dont believe
in ..Weather religion is allowed on this
forum or not ..It will still stay..Just
like profanity/name calling ..Its not
allowed but you still see it ..Its life
and thats the way it is

There is a major difference between god
and the people who claim to speak on his
behalf. These people do a double
disservice. First, they promote things
that are not true as true. Second,
because they do it in god's name, they
actually turn people off god, which is
contrary to their stated purpose. You do
believe that god is all powerful, don't
you? So let him do what he will.
Besides, religious argument is off topic
and not appropriate in this forum.

i do not think this thread is off topic
thank you very much.If this thread if
inappropriate for this site than people
bashing others with their beliefs is 10
times as bad! I hate going into forums
and seeing people do this to people
looking for help. And no,i do not say
anything to them about it,that is why I
created this thread!

you have like 2 post on this forum..How do
you even know about how this forum is for
one..And for two ..Religion will be
brought up in life..You just have to deal
with it..Religion can be ruled out on this
forum ..But you will still see it..People
dont just drop what they believe in
..Because someone else thinks they
shouldnt be allowed to post it..Life isnt
that simple and if it were then we wouldnt
even have different religions because
everyone would believe in the same
things...

Well this is for all of those who still
believe in sex only after marriage...
Emm.. Get with the times, ppl dont wait
anymore. A recent poll showed that 90% of
all teenagers have sex before marriage.
Clealy there has been a shift from the
religious dominance of past centuries.
Personaly im not a very religious person,
simply because im more science oriented
but im not going to post here to argue one
side or the other. The simple point is
that religion has lost its once
constricting self. The few people in this
forum who try to continue to force this
view are anomolies who are fighting a
losing battle. With the growing new
generation religion will continually
diminished.
Good day to u all

Good day to u all
i dont get where everyone thinks that just
because people speak of god means that
they are so religious...I have went to
church before maybe 50 times out of my
whole life..And I still talk about god
sometimes..As much as you think religion
will deminish ..I very seriously doubt
that..Just because most of this world is
full of garbage...Doesnt mean that the
good wont survive..Plus I think the earth
will blow up before all good is gone ..I
dont think god would let all evil take
over .. Good day to you also  oh
yeah not to mention..You are a very
negative person..If everyone were like you
then the world would probably end
tomorrow..

i think ur misunderstanding my point. The
end of religion has nothing to do with the
end of the world or the survival of the
"good." religion will fade not because the
world is full of garbage, but because more
and more poeple have become educated.
Higher scientific knowledge leads to doubt
to the "belief" in a mystical being. Like
I said im not here to argue against
religion, in fact I believe that everyone
should have a right to hope in something.
I will stress that the new generation has
a greater view of the world and therefore
will rely less on prayer. I am not a
negative person at all, in fact I find
that without religion there would be much
less conflict in the world. Did u know
that over a 2 billion people in history
have died in the "name of god." that
countless battles and empires falled in
the name of god. There are those that are
complaning about the war in iraq and yet
they forget histoy and all the death that
religioun has caused. I guess not
everyone is keeping up with the books...

You know it is people like you that stand
in the way of progress.. Simply holding
to a belif that thing could happen if you
pray instead of really pursuing a
scientific or technological breakthrough..
With all the money that is spend on
church or religion.. Do you know what
could have been done?? All of that
progress lost.. Because u think that some
magicial being is secretly healing
people...

I agree with ergit.
Im an atheist and beleive religion is a
curse upon the world.
Im a medical student so obviously my
beliefs are biased in the name of science.
The more I learn about science
(especially in medicine) the less and less
I believe in the existance of a 'god'. We
are studying and understanding exactly how
bodies operate and how they have developed
over time to be as complex as they are
today.
Religious stories can often be ridiculous-
noahs ark anyone? U wanna get millions of
species on a boat? What about t rex and
the other dinosaurs? Those are some big
animals!
Thats just one example obviously.. But
religious fundamentalism is the reason the
world is so messed up right now.
