Do any of you ever get this?

Sometimes ill be sitting down, wether I am nervous or not ill feel my heart beat once or twice maybe 3 times in my throat or my chest or both?
Sometimes it happens when im not anxious,of course after I get them I become anxious. Is it possible to get them after say 4 hours later?

Last month I would get them every couple of hours now every couple of days. My dad says its stress and not to worry since ive seen a cardio last march ,seen 4 dr over the summer and had a ekg done again in september

If your test results came back ok, then the heart beats are probably just heart palpitations that are very common in people with panic and anxiety, even though you feel at rest your mind may not, and thats when you can experience the palpitations. You will find that if your focusing on what your heart is doing, you may get more than if you wern't. It is normal to get 1-2 episodes of heart palpitations a minute. I've found that when I lay down on the couch watching the tv is when I get a lot of palpitations, so I just grab another pillow and sit up a bit.

I hope this will help you.

A lot of things can contribute to heart palpitations, and caffein is one of them. I can't go without my coffee in the morning and it does give me a couple heart palpitations but I can deal with them now that I know that they are normal and won't hurt you if they are are not all the time.
